Officially a charity!

Since we started Foxtrot Oscar Cancer we have been working hard to secure charity status this is not the easiest thing to do as you can imagine there are a lot of rules and regulations around this not least we had to raise an initial amount which our golf day really helped with!

Having an official charity number makes it much easier for us to undertake fundraising and we are eligible for things like gift aid. We can also then sign up to a number of different fundraising platforms and incentives to generate more funds to spend sending Cancer Patients to sporting events!

Supporters will also now be able to enter marathons to raise funds along with Justgiving and Gofundme etc as well as being nominated for national fundraising platforms such as with Marks & Spencer etc.

Watch this space as we have a lot going on behind the scenes and there will be a lot of forward momentum in the coming months!
